Not everyone can, or should, take their Subaru WRX STI down a bobsled run. It takes an expert, a big safety crew, multiple cameras and something loose in the head to make this happen.

It’s not meant to be, throwing a vehicle down a legitimate bobsled run, the oldest bobsled run in the world. You’re going to get some dings!

Nerves of Steel Behind the Wheel

The driver’s name is Mark Higgins. All we really need to know about Mark is, he’s from the Isle of MAN. He’s got spiked tires, a helmet and nerves of steel.

The Subaru takes some damage along the way… Take a look!

As you can see, the Subaru WRX STI received a few dings and dents along the way, but considering everything it went through, it’s in amazing shape!

Want to see the dings and other details about this run you should never attempt? The folks at CNET Road/Show have an article and photos. CNET Road/Show link.

Don’t Do This!

Do we really need to point out that you shouldn’t try this with your new Subaru? As rugged as they are, as great as they tackle the different weather in the Northeast, as sporty as they look and feel – driving your Subaru down a bobsled run … that’s just not a brilliant thing to do.
