Official Subaru Doggos & Puppers We like to call these special Subaru riders "Official Subaru Doggos & Puppers." These dogs come in all sizes, and all ages... and from all over the Northeast. While most do come from the Capital District, we do have the occasional visitor from out of state - like Zeema from Baltimore. Tucker came from the Hawkeye State. Rambo commutes north and back from Manhattan, along with his buddy Halo. Odd thing about Halo - she's a cat! So, yes, we're not dog exclusive at Goldstein Subaru. more The Job of a Subaru Doggo Subaru Doggos accompany their hoomans when it's time for scheduled maintenance, like an oil change. They also come along when it's time for a Lifetime Car Wash, something we include with every vehicle we sell at no additional charge. You'll also find these puppers helping a hooman choose their first, or next, Subaru. Just the other day, a pair of pups helped choose a Forester for a new Subaru owner. And yesterday, Odin helped choose a Subaru WRX for his hooman - their first Subaru as well. Chester is an Official Subaru Doggo. He helped his hooman choose a vehicle from Goldstein Subaru in Albany, NY. These canines have important responsibilities as an "Official Subaru Doggo." They must claim an entire back seat or back of the vehicle. They can insist on their own special seat cover or blanket, as well as a harness to keep them secure. They help navigate to important destinations, like the dog park, Goldstein Subaru, or back to the dog park. These "DPS" systems can fail occasionally, when heading to the vet or similar places, but the hooman has Subaru navigation to keep them on course. You've got a living sub-woofer to sing along with you and the Subaru infotainment system. And these puppers also make sure you stop, stretch and snack frequently during your trip. At times, your Subaru DPS may go off-line and snore, but this is considered normal. But, mainly, a Subaru Doggo just enjoys the comfy ride, just like their hoomans do. Halo is our only Official Subaru Kitty, at least for now. She accompanies Rambo of Manhattan to Goldstein Subaru. They travel from NYC north and stop in Albany for their Subaru maintenance. Who Let The Dogs Out...Back? That's right, the special family of dogs and some of their furry friends are back on TV. The commercials are a combination of funny and kind-of sad as the family sends Junior off to school for the first time, or takes the mud-covered Subaru to the doggy car wash. Dogs Don't Like Practical Jokes? In one of the commercials, it seems that Father Barkley is getting picked up from his latest bowling game. Seems like the perfect time to play a joke! Probably one of the funniest this time around is the Subaru commercial at the car wash. But it seems no matter how old you might be, in dog years, it's pretty easy to be a distracted driver. Good thing they have a Subaru to keep them safe from distractions on the road.
